Hope River Corporation is a nonprofit (501(c)(3) organization that provides emergency relief, aid services, and sustainable business development training through a charitable, community-based, community-driven model. We provide benefits and services where and when needed without regard to race, color, sex, creed, or national or ethnic origin. Simply stated, our mission is to connect communities in need to resources.

• To create affordable housing initiatives.
• To provide healthcare: medical and dental for the poor and underprivileged.
• To provide education to healthcare providers so as to raise healthcare standards.
• To provide language training to migrants working in high-risk occupations where a lack of language skills is a main cause of loss of life.
• To help deliver patient-level health education through distance learning.
• To create or renovate facilities for use as charitable medical and dental clinics.
• To create, operate, and support of organizations that provide services to orphans.
• To create or provide banking services; micro-loans to create new businesses, and employment opportunities among the poor.

Services help the efforts of nonprofit organizations, governments, and target communities.

Projects will be selected based upon economic and medical need. The communities themselves will help determine project design, scope and project priorities. Each community must agree to take a leadership role in project management, participating by providing whatever resources they may give to the project.

We select partners based upon their demonstrated commitment to providing charitable services to populations in need and turning over operational control and ownership to the target community.

Founded in 2001, Hope River Corporation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to building partnerships among academic, government, business, and religious organizations. These partnerships enable and advance education, innovation and economic development throughout the communities in which we work.

We build hope by connecting the communities we serve to resources they need. Through our Community Development activities, teaching language and computer courses, providing food, clothing, medical, and dental hygiene services, we build hope one person at a time.

We encourage the creation of new business ventures and champion the use of micro-loans as a viable business development mechanism. We also encourage existing businesses to invest in their communities by investing in the training of potential workers.

We provide education on how to start and operate a business and provide volunteer business consultants who will provide training on how to maximize wealth creation thereby sustaining the community.

A community that works together toward a common goal eventually achieves its purpose. For that reason, we seek community involvement in identifying what is its greatest need and in fashioning a solution that they can readily embrace and execute. We provide education, support, coaching, and consulting services to ensure that the projects we undertake are completed in a timely manner and fulfill the goal of benefiting the community. In this way, the community has input and control over its financial destiny.

We seek out and align ourselves with like-minded individuals and organizations so as to produce positive results that lead to peace, prosperity, and justice for people on the very fringes of society.

Hope River Corporation spreads hope through activities that include the teaching of the English language, and basic computer skills. The company promotes Community Development by utilizing Micro-Loans or Micro Credit, and providing access to food, shelter, clothing, dental services, medical services, and hygiene services.

We provide assistance, leadership development, and business training to raise the standard of living in targeted communities.

Since its founding in 2001, we have dedicated ourselves to reaching out to local communities and communities worldwide with a particular continued emphasis on the country of Kazakhstan. Every summer from 2001 until 2004, we have conducted projects in a village outside Almaty.

Over the years the projects included distributing clothing in orphanages, building renovation, and creating a dental clinic. By far, our most ambitious project has been the dental clinic. This project was underwritten by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), private dentists, dental supply companies, and volunteers from across the USA.

In July 2003, we sent a container of dental equipment and supplies to Kazakhstan with the help of local dentists, volunteers, GSK, and the US State Department.

Our efforts are supported by volunteers. We recruit and send volunteer workers to target countries to manage or work on on-going projects. Volunteers include project managers, electricians, plumbers, lawyers, dentists, network engineers, and others.

The sale of products and services from our website supports our day-to-day operations. We also hold periodic capital funding drives where donations are earmarked for specific operational needs. We encourage our supporters to donate to our General Fund. We choose to work in this manner to ensure that at least 85% of all donated resources end up directly benefitting the communities we serve.
